Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers benefits and flexible scheduling with overtime opportunities and potential shift coverage.

The RN will deliver safe, competent patient care per facility standards, provide clinical leadership, and support the healthcare team while upholding service excellence. Opportunities for professional growth and ongoing education are available.

Qualifications

Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
One year full time ED experience in acute care setting.
RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
BLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
TNCC required within 12 months of eligibility.
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times.
Follow Standards of Practice for nursing care.
