Job summary

Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care seeks a qualiy assurance professional to perform behavioral health care inspections and assessments across Arkansas. This role travels statewide, collaborates with clinical and non-clinical staff, and ensures adherence to federal and state regulations while meeting contractual deliverables.

You will write review summaries, maintain records, and coordinate with supervisors to address issues, while upholding AFMC’s mission and values in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree in nursing. Licensed RN in Arkansas, without restrictions.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing/health care or related field preferred.
• CPHQ certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the state to conduct site visits, including overnight stays up to 3-4 nights per week.
• Collaborate with team to develop quality inspection strategies across Arkansas.
• Provide oversight for non-clinical staff with guidance on clinically related questions.
• Write effective and accurate review summaries within specified timeframes.
• Maintain and organize files and reporting in accordance with procedures.
• Seek direction from Supervisor for questions during review process.
• Meet contract deliverables by maintaining daily quotas when required.
• Plan, develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate program activities related to care assessments.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Use project-tracking database to document data and ensure reporting requirements.
• Maintain onsite visit log with details and enter into project tracking system.
