Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum Home & Community Care in New Jersey is hiring an RN to join our Senior Community Care team providing patient-centered nursing in home and long-term care settings. This role features a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

You will be part of the primary care team collaborating with all interdisciplinary team members and will support multiple providers. The RN is a flexible team member who works alongside nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs).

Standard Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing (RN)
• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license in your state of residence or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Certified in Basic Life Support or ability to obtain by start date
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel up to 100% to visit clients and/or patient sites within a designated area
• 1+ years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualification:

• BSN degree
• Long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
