Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nursing program
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse
• BLS/CPR certification
• PALS certification within 180 days (for inexperienced)
• APHON course completion within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient, recognizing family strengths and individuality.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data and utilizing the family centered approach.
• Implements nursing care plan.
• Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership skills
