Job summary

Peachford Hospital is seeking a compassionate registered nurse (RN) for the adolescent psychiatry unit, evening shift. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered and opportunities for growth in a dedicated behavioral health team.

RNs provide safe, person-centered care, participate in treatment planning, and educate patients and families. Georgia RN license required; psychiatric experience helpful but not required. Full-time with comprehensive benefits. Located in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• A valid State of Georgia Nursing (RN) License or eNLC License from a participating state is required.
• Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our patients safe.
• Assessing each patient's needs through daily interaction with the patient and other health care providers.
• Developing comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment plans and monitoring patient's progress toward meeting treatment plan objectives.
• Administering medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Providing comfort and care while following policies, procedures and standard nursing protocols.
• Communicating changes in patient's status with attending physician.

Registered Nurse/RN - Adolescent Psych - Evenings

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Peachford Hospital is searching for caring and compassionate psychiatric Registered Nurses - RN - for evening shift positions working with our adolescent psych patients. We currently have 4 units for children and adolescents - age 4 to 18 and are looking for compassionate and energetic nurses to provide great care to these patients. Charge Nurse and PRN positions are also available.
