Job summary

CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking an ER RN for a part-time evening position in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires at least one year of recent ER experience and active RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS as mandated by the hospital.

The RN will provide high-quality patient care and work under the Clinical Nurse Director, contributing to a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes nursing process, patient safety, and collaboration with the care team

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience in Emergency Room setting (not applicable to New Grad RN’s).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA is required.
• PALS card from the AHA is required.
• Basic EKG.
• Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire).
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
• Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director.
