Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a registered nurse to deliver safe, compassionate care in accordance with hospital policies and the care philosophy.

You will lead and support the care team, uphold Patient Centered Care principles, and demonstrate Service Excellence in daily practice within a 183-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification required or obtained within six months.
• BLS certification required or obtained during orientation.
• De-escalation training (CPI) within six months of employment.
• Current state nursing license, TNCC within 18 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in line with facility policies and standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
