ARMStaffing is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Meadville, PA area. You will deliver high-quality care in a 19-bed ED, manage acute conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications; ED experience preferred. Evening and night shifts are available, with travel and housing considerations provided by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ED patients in acute situations (chest pain, abdominal pain, trauma).
• Administer medications and manage drips (Propofol, Levophed, Heparin, Nitro, Insulin, Cardizem).
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor vital signs and read cardiac strips.
• Participate in emergency response and collaborate with hospitalist and respiratory teams.
• Support hospital policies, including weekend and holiday work requirements.
• This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Emergency Department serves as a critical care environment with a capacity of 19 beds. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, manage acute conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in acute situations, including chest pain, abdominal pain, and trauma.
• Administer medications and manage drips such as Propofol, Levophed, Heparin, Nitro, Insulin, and Cardizem.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Meditech) for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and read cardiac strips.
• Participate in emergency response and collaborate with hospitalist and respiratory teams.
• Support hospital policies and procedures, including those related to weekend and holiday work requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
