Atlas MedStaff is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated stroke center on a 13-week travel contract in Fullerton, California. You will cover 12-hour night shifts, care for adults and geriatrics, with occasional pediatric transports, in a high-acuity, high-volume ED.

The role requires at least 1.5 years of ER experience, familiarity with Epic EMR, and current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a busy emergency department on a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing care in a high-acuity, high-volume facility that handles approximately 230 visits daily. You will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatrics, with some pediatric cases requiring transport to a nearby specialized hospital. The environment emphasizes swift, accurate decisions in a Magnet-designated stroke center, where stroke and Stemi cases are common. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, with a minimum of 1.5 years of ER experience, familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Records, and current certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Flexibility to work weekends and collaborate across units as needed is essential. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to hone skills in a dynamic emergency setting with the support of a professional team.
