Description:The position requires a registered nurse specializing in endoscopy.The actual shift consists of two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), totaling a 36-hour work week.Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience.Experience with the required procedures is essential.The registered nurse will work with an adult and geriatric patient population.The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and administering conscious sedation as needed.The unit consists of three rooms and 11 beds, with an average daily census of 20 patients.There is a call requirement of one weekday call per week and one weekend call every six weeks.If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the nurse may be expected to work.Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential to start on time.All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission.No holiday RTO can be requested if one to two holidays fall during the assignment.If three holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday RTO may be considered.The candidate will be reviewed for clinical fit before final selection.This position does not require floating to other units.A maximum of seven days off can be taken during the contract period.
