Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within established policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes professional growth, coordination of care, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes. A Georgia RN license and BCLS are required; BSN is preferred, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program; active Georgia RN license.
  • BSN preferred; willingness to pursue further education.
  • No experience required; new graduates eligible.
  • One year hospital experience preferred for PRN.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Advanced certification in specialty if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Functions within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.

Qualifications:
Education
  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
  • Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
  • 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
