Job summary

Atlas MedStaff currently seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Orange, California, at a busy pediatric endoscopy center. You will work 10-hour days, four days a week, supporting various minor procedures and maintaining charting with Cerner or Surginet EMR.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of acute or outpatient experience in pediatrics or related specialties and hold ACLS, PALS, and BLS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support minor surgical procedures across ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry and oncology.
• Implement EMR documentation and patient care coordination in a fast-paced pediatric endoscopy setting.

Join a busy pediatric endoscopy procedure center in Orange, California, for a 13-week travel RN assignment. You’ll be working 10-hour days, four days a week, in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes. The role involves supporting various minor surgical procedures including ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology, with some opportunities to expand into GI and pulmonary endoscopy techniques. This position requires recent general surgery experience and proficiency with EMR documentation, specifically Cerner or Surginet. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of acute or outpatient experience in relevant specialties, and must hold current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. Please note this assignment is not suitable for first-time travelers or those requiring float coverage- scheduled call shifts are part of the routine, including weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pediatric or outpatient RNs seeking to advance their skills in a supportive, high-energy setting.
