Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA seeks an RN for Emergency Services on a Per-Diem basis, working 12-hour Evening shifts at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.

This role is part of Providence’s mission to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in a community hospital setting. Applicants must have a California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, NIHSS and TNCC within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire: BLS - American Heart Association Provider.
• Upon hire: ACLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: PALS - American Heart Association.
• Within 90 days of hire: NIH Stroke Scale Certificate (NIHSS).
• Within 1 year of hire: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• 1 year of nursing experience.
