Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Madison, WI seeks a Registered Nurse for an ER role. The position is 0.9 FTE with a 36-hour week and 8- or 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Compensation starts at $43.89/hour plus benefits, with opportunities through our Total Rewards program. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, while coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN degree required or considered on an individual basis.
• Current RN licensure in Wisconsin.
• CPR certification or eligibility within 3 months of hire.

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital polices, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Education

• Graduate of Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis

License/Certifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin Current
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire
