Job summary

South County Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a full-time RN to coordinate total nursing care for ED patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership within the multidisciplinary team. You will deliver care through the Nursing Process for patients across the life span.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RI RN license or multi-state license, BLS & ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year acute care and ED experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School or College of Nursing.
• Current Rhode Island RN license or a multi-state compact license.
• BLS & ACLS from the AHA.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required.
• Emergency department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total nursing care for ED patients and provides family teaching.
• Provides leadership by working with the multi-disciplinary team and applying the Nursing Process.

Job Summary:

Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients, where applicable. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or a multi-state compact license
• BLS & ACLS from the AHA
• Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required
• Emergency experience required

Pay Range:$35.20-50.00
