Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an ER nurse at CHI St. Francis Health in Breckenridge, MN. You will be the first touchpoint during health emergencies, delivering stabilizing care and working with an experienced clinical team to support patients while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities include triage, adapting care to patient condition, documenting care plans, and contributing to patient experience initiatives. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota (ND) Registered Nurse License, compaq state RN licensure accepted.
• ND license holders must obtain North Dakota licensure within 90 days of start date, if employee resides in the state of ND.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the ER team, adapting care to changes in patient's condition as needed.
• Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs.
• Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition.
• Engage in activities that will benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, and mentoring.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our ER Nurse at CHI St. Francis Health, you'll be the first touchpoint to the people in our community during health emergencies. As part of our ER team, you'll partner with an experienced clinical team to deliver stabilizing care to our patients by performing IV starts, foley catheter insertions, or aiding providers with chest tube insertions. To thrive as an ER nurse, you should exhibit teamwork, professionalism, critical thinking skills, and a willingness to take on additional projects such as patient experience initiatives. More than anything, you should be energetic and motivated to provide quality care to all of our patients, maintaining their dignity at every step.

Pay Range

$36.16 - $53.22 /hour
