Job summary

Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a temporary assignment. You will provide patient-centered emergency care, collaborate with ED teams, and serve a close-knit community in Kodiak.

Temporary roles offer 3–6 months with potential extensions up to a year, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour shifts and the benefit of free housing and a complimentary rental car.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within required timeframes.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year Nursing experience.
