Job summary

Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Kodiak, AK is seeking dedicated registered nurses to deliver world-class care in a rural emergency department. You will work at the top of your license, collaborating with a resilient team in a community where patient relationships matter.

This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with variable shifts. Must have nursing degree, Alaska RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) on hire, plus at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Alaska RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications expected on hire; PALS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Knowledge of emergency department protocols and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused care in a rural emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality care.
• Adhere to Providence policies and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License.

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire

• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

• 1 year Nursing experience.
