Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour-per-week position on the night shift (7p–7a). The role involves administering, directing, and coordinating inter- and intradepartmental activities in alignment with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Minimum education includes graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Current Kentucky RN license or compact state license, BCLS, and additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS or ENPC preferred

• Avade workplace violence prevention training Level III required after hire.

Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS and PALS or ENPC preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire/transfer. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 3 months from date of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire. CEN or board certified in area of expertise recommended within 5 years of hire. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level III) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually. Training provided in-house. *current employees as of April 12, 2024 will be allowed 1 year to obtain * EXPERIENCE: No experience required for part time and full time employees.
