Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Essential Functions

• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring for therapeutic and adverse effects in accordance with provider orders and protocols.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medication regimens, and preventive care strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
