Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using established nursing processes, and adhere to organizational policies.

The role requires active Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and hospital experience is desirable, but new graduates are eligible for PRN or entry positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required — New Graduates of a nursing program eligible (Required).
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse, Georgia licensure current; required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
