Ochsner Health in Houma, Louisiana is seeking qualified registered nurses who will provide effective patient care and work within a team environment. Candidates must possess a registered nurse diploma and hold current BLS certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS are required within the first 90 days of employment.
The role requires good judgment, time management skills, and proficiency in using computer applications to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Required - Registered nurse diploma.
Preferred - Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Required - None.
Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification.
Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
