This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. The RN, Clinical II in the Emergency Services department is responsible for providing patient care in a safe and effective manner. Additional responsibilities include directing the Patient Care Technician activity, synthesizing patient information, assessing patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family, implementing treatment plan/MD orders, and documenting and evaluating per unit standards. Collaboration between healthcare team members and integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities
