Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for its busy Emergency Department. This full-time night shift (7 PM–7 AM) role combines high-acuity patient care with strong teamwork and professional growth in a Level III Trauma Center.

The right candidate will hold Georgia RN licensure, have BCLS certification, and either a Bachelor’s degree or plan to complete one; new graduates are welcome with hospital experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia (or compact license) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area is preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth to discharge using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.
• Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professionalism and accountability.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
