Job summary

Meritus Health’s Emergency Department in Hagerstown is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time day/evening shifts (830am–9pm). Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. The ED is a MIEMSS Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a strong focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.

Education: ASN or higher required; BSN preferred. At least one year of hospital nursing experience and Maryland RN licensure (or compact state with Maryland designation) are needed.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher is required.
• BSN or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of hospital experience is required.
• Current Maryland RN license or multi-state compact license with Maryland privileges is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ED.
• Monitor and triage patients, administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and trauma team to stabilize patients.
