Upper-Allegheny Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Olean General Hospital's Emergency Department. The role covers diagnosing and treating patient health problems, health teaching, counseling, and providing restorative care in a fast-paced ER setting. Strong nursing education and willingness to work rotating shifts are expected.

Experience in emergency care or acute settings is preferred. This full-time, on-site position operates bi-weekly pay with a night shift (7 PM–7 AM) schedule

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.

Job Description

The primary function of the Registered Nurse is to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems through services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being and executing medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, or other licensed health care provider legally authorized to do so.

Education And Credentials

Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.

Experience

Previous patient care experience in the identified area preferred.
