Baton Rouge General is seeking a passionate Emergency Department RN to triage, assess, and rapidly intervene in high-acuity cases. You will work in a fast-paced setting, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families across ages.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of nursing experience and certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or ENPC, with a focus on fast-response care in emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS within one year.
• PALS within one year.
• TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Responsabilités

• Triage, assess, implement interventions in urgent and life-critical situations.
• Coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Analyze patient data to identify nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation as required.
• Perform focused assessments across all age groups.

Deliver high-quality, fast-response care to patients of all ages in our Emergency Department. Triage, assess, implement interventions, and support patients and families in urgent and often life-critical situations.

• Coordinates patient assessment through collection of patient’s health data.
• Analyzes patient assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and identifies expected outcomes.
• Coordinates an interdisciplinary plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.
• Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes.Triage assessment on all patients.
• Performs focused assessments for all age populations.
• Administers and monitors Procedural Sedation.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
