Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department Observation unit. This role requires nights 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-other-weekend/holiday rotation.

The nurse will participate in a Nurse Residency program, provide direct patient care, and work within a high‑performing team delivering world‑class care. You’ll gain educational growth opportunities, loan repayment and tuition reimbursement benefits, and relocation assistance if moving to join

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• New grad or less than one year RN experience, or if transitioning from non-inpatient to acute direct care.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• ENPC certification (or within 24 months of hire).
• PALS certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department observational unit.
• Establish and adjust priorities based on patient acuity and resources.
• Respond to risks to patient health and take corrective action.
• Seek supervision when needed and collaborate with care team.
• Document care in the patient’s medical record.
