St. Francis Hospital Interquest in Colorado Springs seeks a Registered Nurse to facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or by endorsement acceptable for license.
• Preferred Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning needs and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
