Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN license in New York State and BLS certification.
• Diabetes Educator (CDE) or CDE status within two years for diabetes education.
• WOCNCB certification or NAWCO WCC for wound care, if applicable.
• Equivalent combination of education and healthcare related work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation: identify learning needs using assessments, CQI results and surveys; document effectiveness of offerings.
• Development: create curricula and educational materials; provide leadership as a resource to customers.
• Implementation: facilitate programs, provide orientation, in-service and continuing education for staff or patients.
