Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health seeks a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Nights shift in the UCHealth Anschutz area, Aurora, working 48 hours per pay period onsite. The role emphasizes direct patient care, clinical proficiency, and teamwork within an acute care environment.

The position requires Colorado RN licensure, acute care experience, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/NIHSS as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Prioritize patient safety and quality care in a busy ED setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Precept and mentor new staff during orientation.

Work Schedule:Part Time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift:Nights

Pay:$35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • PALS and NIHSS within 6 months of hire. TNCC or ATCN within 6 months of hire.

  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
