Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. This per diem position offers an evening shift and immediate patient-care responsibilities in triage, treatment, and trauma areas.

The ideal candidate has an active NJ RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least one year of ED experience; BSN or additional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree and active NJ RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• At least one year of ED RN experience.
• BSN or additional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN is an integral part of the ED team, assisting in caring for patients from infants to geriatrics in triage, main ED, and trauma areas.
• Respond quickly to minimize pain and stabilize patients’ conditions during medical emergencies.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced RN for our Emergency Department at Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center is a 592‑bed, fully accredited acute‑care hospital offering world‑class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care.

Qualifications

• RN Degree
• NJ RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
• At least one year current ED RN experience
• Preferred: BSN, Certification

Scheduling Requirements

Per Diem, Evening shift.

Essential Functions
