Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This part-time position covers 24 hours per week with a shift from 6:30pm to 7:00am. The ED serves the community 24/7 with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and support from care techs and staff.

Applicants must hold a current RN license (or compact) and ACLS/BLS certifications (or within 30 days). The role emphasizes patient rights, safety, and collaborative care in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.

Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
