Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving in Irving, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift (7pm–7am). A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, triage, and support across ED with various acuities.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure and ED experience; BLS within 30 days; ENPC and TNCC certifications. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN – Registered Nurse with minimum of 1 year ED Experience
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• ENPC and TNCC

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

Shift: Night Shift | 7pm - 7am

Department Specifics

Currently seeking Level III Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self‑Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.
