The staff nurse will provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess and evaluate care. The role requires a graduate from an accredited nursing school and a Georgia RN license, with new graduates eligible. Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• No experience required. New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting is preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions is preferred.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support is required.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
