Job summary

CommuniCare Health is seeking an experienced RN to lead the nursing team as Director of Nursing at Wildwood Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires an active RN license and a minimum of five years in clinical management, ideally within long-term care.

Prior DON experience is highly preferred, with strong leadership and communication abilities essential to supervise staff and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• 5 years clinical management experience, preferably in a long term care environment.
• Prior DON experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with staff and families.

• Administer and coordinate clinical services and programs for residents.
• Directly supervise nurses as nurse manager and oversee day-to-day clinical operations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality resident care.
