Job Summary

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care.

Job Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, including post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Uses critical thinking to assess and evaluate patient’s physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, following guidelines and standards.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Evaluates patient’s response and modifies plan of care accordingly throughout stay.
• Participates in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Supervisor Experience: None.
• License: RN.
