Description:DIALYSIS RN position available.RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to cancelation and DNR.This position requires 3x12 hour shifts from 0645 to 1915.Contract staff will be assigned to work a storm team and/or hurricane team.Staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.Staff may be floated to other departments as needed if there are no dialysis patients.Dialysis assignments are made whenever census levels permit with ratios of 1:1-2.On-call duty required on Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Every other weekend commitment is required.Staff will be responsible for support tasks assigned if there are no dialysis patients.Patient care may include end-stage renal disease, chronic kidney disease, and acute kidney injury.Special procedures involve acute hemodialysis with 9 stations, including one isolation station.Patient transport is organized through a designated system.There is 24-hour coverage, with RNs on call after hours until the next day.Candidates must have recent experience in acute hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.Preferred candidates should have experience within 1 year in both modalities.Aspiring candidates must be open to floating within or near facilities as required.
