Baylor Scott & White Health's McLane Children's Medical Center in Temple, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for Day Surgery/PACU to provide patient care in a dynamic pediatric setting. The role requires 2+ years RN experience, PACU or pediatric day surgery exposure, and current RN licensure with BLS.

13 Day Surgery beds
12 PACU beds

Pediatric Day Surgery and/or PACU experience
Critical Care or ICU-level nursing experience
Current RN licensure and applicable certifications

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
