Job summary

Avera Granite Falls Health Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct resident care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance health outcomes for patients.

The role supports a day shift with standard hours, includes PTO from Day 1, and offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 plus a student loan repayment program. You’ll educate residents and families, coordinate care, and uphold safety and quality in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the care plan to the team.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing histories, documenting status, and setting objectives.
• Educates residents and families about condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Evaluates care by monitoring outcomes, reviewing records, and adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintains a safe care environment following infection-control and storage procedures.
