Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sanford provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care for patients across all stages of the health continuum.

This 12-hour day-shift role is contract-based for 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver care.
• Educate patients and families and triage as part of daily patient care.
