Job summary

Northside Hospital invites a Registered Nurse to provide expert bedside care in accordance with physician orders and Georgia regulations.

The RN will manage a patient assignment, follow hospital policies, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. A BSN is preferred and two years of RN experience are desirable; additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS/NRP are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold BLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN degree.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
• The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
