Job summary

Charleston Heart Specialists is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient practice. This full-time role supports a patient-centered care approach, with daytime hours Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will provide clinical expertise, screen and prepare patients, educate on medications, document results, and maintain smooth flow and safety in the clinic. Must hold an active RN license and bring 1–3 years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls (may include phone triage when needed).
• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.
