Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (day-shift) to provide holistic nursing care at Sumter Correctional Institution in Bushnell, Florida. You will work under the DON and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of incarcerated patients.

The position requires an Associate's degree, a valid RN license or ability to obtain one, and active CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be actively CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Work under the direction of the DON/Nursing Supervisor.
• Rotating 3–12 hour day shifts with weekends rotation.
