Job summary

Grow with AdventHealth Altamonte Springs as an RN in acute care. You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop care plans with a multidisciplinary team, and administer medications while monitoring responses.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform accurate initial and ongoing patient assessments.
Must be fluent in English and able to communicate with patients and team.
Basic computer skills and use of electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
Supervise nursing personnel to ensure safe, quality patient care.
Provide patient and family education about the care plan and procedures.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests and surgeries.
Monitor lab work and report abnormal results.
