Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for CVSU, full-time days, at Baptist Medical Center South in Alabama. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, coordinate patient care, and collaborate with physicians and clinicians to ensure quality, safe care and continuity.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and execution of care using the nursing process in a dynamic environment. Active RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing is required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure is required; BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC etc. may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
