Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies, coordinating care activities among staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia (or NLC/eNCL multistate), BLS, and potentially additional certifications. This position emphasizes professional growth, accountability, and adherence to standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license (NLC/eNCL multistate) required and BCLS.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Addendum

• Surgical Services: Additional Required Certifications: PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) OR - BLS required only within 180 Days Required
