Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with the care team and following organizational policies.

The role requires a Georgia RN license and BCLS, with new graduates eligible and hospital experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Georgia RN license required and BCLS certification.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred; PRN experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff to maintain quality nursing care.
• Adhere to organizational policies and promote professional growth and accountability.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
