Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is hiring a Registered Nurse in Calais, Maine to deliver high-quality patient-centered care during the perioperative period. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in the recovery room as needed.

The ideal candidate must have a current registered nurse licensure in Maine, Basic Life Support Certification, and preferably 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maine.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• For PACU: ACLS required; may obtain within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

This role includes scrubbing, circulating, and working in the recovery room as needed. Effective communication with other members of the perioperative team is crucial, alongside maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
