Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse will work within organizational policies and coordinate care activities with the team to maintain high standards of practice.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, GA RN licensure (or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure), and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Required).
• Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure (Current license in the State of Georgia as an RN or NLC/eNCL). Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required.
• New graduates are eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred
